Jim Irsay

James Irsay (born June 13, 1959) is an American businessman and the principal owner, chairman, and CEO of the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL). Born in Lincolnwood, Illinois, Irsay is the son of Harriet and Chicago businessman Robert Irsay. He attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, and Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania before graduating from Southern Methodist University in 1982 with a degree in broadcast journalism. During his time at SMU, Irsay played linebacker for the Mustangs football team as a walk-on. As the owner of the Colts, Irsay has overseen the team's success, including a Super Bowl victory in 2007.
