Jim Jefferies

Jim Jefferies, born Geoff James Nugent in February 1977, is an Australian-American comedian, actor, and writer. He gained fame for creating and starring in the FX sitcom Legit (2013–2014) and the Comedy Central late-night show The Jim Jefferies Show (2017–2019). Originally from Sydney, Australia, Jefferies studied musical theatre and classical music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts before pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. With dual Australian and American citizenship, Jefferies has established himself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry with his distinctive comedic style and insightful commentary on various social and political issues.
