Jim Lange

Jim Lange (August 15, 1932 – February 25, 2014) was an American game show host and disc jockey. He gained popularity as a radio personality in the San Francisco and Los Angeles markets, with over 45 years on the air. Lange also made a name for himself in television as the host of various game shows, most notably The Dating Game. Born in Minnesota, Lange started his career as a radio host in the Twin Cities and later became the kids' show host 'Captain 11.' After serving in the Marines, he moved to San Francisco and began his TV career with The Ford Show. Throughout his career, Lange entertained audiences with his warm and engaging personality.
