Jim Moody

Jim Moody (September 2, 1935 – March 22, 2019) was an American economist, politician, and actor. He is best known for serving five terms as the U.S. representative for Wisconsin's 5th congressional district from 1983 to 1993. Prior to his political career, Moody worked in finance on Wall Street and served as the CARE representative in Yugoslavia and Iran. He also played significant roles in various movies and TV shows. Moody was born in Richlands, Virginia, and graduated from Haverford College. He made valuable contributions to the Peace Corps by setting up programs in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Moody's passing on March 22, 2019, marked the end of a remarkable career and life.
