Jim Myers
James A. Myers (November 12, 1921 – July 17, 2014) was an American football coach. He coached for 40 years at the collegiate and professional level, primarily known for his time as line coach and associate head coach with the Dallas Cowboys under Tom Landry. Myers also played as a guard for the Card-Pitt team in 1944, a combined team of the Cardinals and Steelers during World War II. After serving as a line coach at Vanderbilt University and UCLA, he became the head coach at Iowa State University in 1957, compiling a 4–5–1 record. He then succeeded Bear Bryant as the head coach at Texas A&M University in 1958.
