Jim O'Heir (born February 4, 1962) is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his role as Jerry Gergich on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. O'Heir began his career in Chicago theater and improv during the late 1980s and early 1990s as a member of the comedic theater troupe 'White Noise'. He has appeared in various films and made guest appearances on popular TV shows such as Friends, Boston Legal, Malcolm in the Middle, Star Trek: Voyager, and ER. O'Heir also starred in the Comedy Central series Strip Mall. He was born in Chicago and is a graduate of Thornton Fractional South High School and Loyola University Chicago.
