Jim Ortlieb

James Ortlieb (born June 19, 1956) is an American film, television, and theatre actor. He is best known for his roles in the TV series Roswell and Felicity. Ortlieb has also appeared in several Broadway productions, including Guys and Dolls, Of Mice and Men, Billy Elliot the Musical, and The Farnsworth Invention. Raised in Hazlet, New Jersey, Ortlieb attended Raritan High School before pursuing a degree in drama from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Prior to his acting career, Ortlieb had initially planned to study music and play soccer at Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) but chose acting after suffering an injury during soccer practice.
