James Phillip Rome (born October 14, 1964) is an American sports radio host and television personality. He is best known for hosting The Jim Rome Show, a syndicated sports talk radio show, which is aired by CBS Sports Radio. Rome also hosted a television show called Jim Rome Is Burning, which aired on ESPN and TSN2. In 2011, he joined the CBS network where he hosts his own show and an interview-format show on Showtime. Rome has also hosted sports discussion television shows such as Talk2, The FX Sports Show, and The Last Word. He is currently one of the most influential talk radio personalities and his show is one of the most listened to in the United States.
