Jim True-Frost
Jim True-Frost (né True; born July 31, 1966) is an American stage, television, and screen actor. He gained recognition for his role as Roland 'Prez' Pryzbylewski on the HBO program The Wire, appearing in all five seasons. True-Frost also portrayed James Woodrow in Treme from 2010 to 2012 and had a notable film role in Singles (1992). He graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, and became an ensemble member of the renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago in 1989. True-Frost has performed on Broadway and internationally, including Sierra Leone. He married lawyer and legal scholar Cora Frost in 1999, and they have two children.
