Jim Vickers

James Henry 'Jim' Vickers (7 December 1922 – 6 December 2016) was an Indian hurdler. He represented India in the men's 110 metres hurdles at the 1948 Summer Olympics. Vickers was known for his impressive athletic abilities, competing at the highest level of international sports. Although his career was focused on hurdling, he also had a passion for other track and field events. Vickers' dedication and hard work earned him a spot on the Indian Olympic team, where he showcased his talent and represented his country with pride.
