Jimmie Johnson

Jimmie Kenneth Johnson (born September 17, 1975) is an American professional auto racing driver. He is a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, with his championships including five consecutive wins, a feat shared only with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt. Born in El Cajon, California, Johnson started racing motorcycles at the age of four and later transitioned to off-road series. In 1998, he entered stock car racing with Herzog Motorsports. Currently, Johnson competes part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 84 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Legacy Motor Club. From 2021 to 2022, he also raced in the IndyCar Series for Chip Ganassi Racing and has occasional appearances in sports car racing throughout his career.
