Jimmie Vaughan

Jimmie Vaughan is an American blues rock guitarist and singer known for his influential playing style. Born on March 20, 1951, in Dallas County, Texas, Vaughan grew up in Dallas and began his musical career in the late 1960s. He moved to Austin, Texas, where he played with notable musicians such as Paul Ray and WC Clark. Vaughan's playing style was shaped by blues guitarists like Albert, Freddie, and B.B. King, as well as Johnny 'Guitar' Watson. He is the older brother of the late blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. Vaughan has performed in various bands and has made appearances on television shows and movies related to the blues genre.
