    James Olatokunbo Akingbola, born on April 7, 1978, is a Nigerian-British actor known for his work in television, theatre, and film. He gained recognition for his roles as PC Neil Parker in Holby Blue and Antoine Malick in Holby City. Akingbola has appeared in various TV shows including the sitcom Kate & Koji as Koji, In the Long Run as Valentine Easmon, and Bel-Air as Geoffrey Thompson. Born in London to Nigerian parents of the Yoruba tribe, Akingbola attended the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) and completed their three-year acting diploma. He began his career on stage at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and later performed at the Royal National Theatre and West Yorkshire Playhouse.
