Jimmy Destri

Jimmy Destri, born James Mollica on April 13, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York City, United States, is an American musician. He is of Italian descent and grew up in Boro Park, raised in his grandmother's house. Destri attended Catholic schools and dropped out of high school to form his first band. He played keyboards in the rock band Blondie and was one of the principal songwriters, alongside Chris Stein and Deborah Harry. In 1997, Destri rejoined Blondie and remained an official member for several more years. While he ceased touring with the band in 2004, he continued working as a drug [sic].
