Jin Maley is an American actor known for their role as Ensign Kova Rin Esmar on the third season of Star Trek: Picard. They earned an M.F.A. in acting from Harvard University and currently coach acting in Los Angeles, California. Maley is also an associate artist with Sinking Ship Productions and has worked on productions such as Cassandra, an Agony, which was commissioned by the Getty Villa in 2022. They have also appeared on stage as Ariel in a 2023 production of The Tempest at the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles. Maley is nonbinary and prefers they/them pronouns, which is reflected in their character Esmar's pronouns on Star Trek: Picard.
