Jo Anne Worley

Jo Anne Worley (born September 6, 1937) is an American actress, comedian, and singer. She has a diverse body of work in television, films, theater, game shows, talk shows, commercials, and cartoons. Worley gained widespread recognition for her role in the comedy-variety show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. Born in Lowell, Indiana, in 1937, she grew up with a passion for performing. Worley's distinctive loud voice became her trademark, and she even lip-synced hymns at church to avoid overpowering others. After graduating high school, she honed her skills as a member of the Pickwick Players in Blauvelt, New York, before earning a drama scholarship to Midwestern State University.
