Georgette 'Jo' Jordan is a former Democratic representative of the 44th House District of the Hawaii House of Representatives. Born on May 5, 1962, Jordan represented Wai‘anae, Mākaha, Makua, and parts of Māʻili on the island of Oahu. She was appointed to her seat by Governor Neil Abercrombie on January 19, 2011, following the vacancy left by Maile Shimabukuro. Jordan served on multiple committees during her tenure, including Human Services, Culture and the Arts, Finance, Hawaiian Affairs, and Health. Additionally, she held the position of Vice Chair on the House Committee of Human Services. In addition to her political career, Jordan also has a TV show on ‘Ōlelo.
