Jo Joyner is an English actress known for her roles in various TV shows. She was born on May 24, 1977, in Harlow, Essex. Jo graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 1999 with a BA in Acting. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Beth Nicholls in the comedy drama No Angels from 2004 to 2006, and for her appearances in shows like North & South and Doctor Who. Jo came to prominence when she joined the cast of the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Tanya Branning in June 2006. She has also starred as Mandy Carter in Channel 4's Ackley Bridge and as Luella Shakespeare in the crime drama series Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators.
