Jo Koy

Jo Koy, born Joseph Glenn Herbert Sr. on June 2, 1971, is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He gained popularity as a frequent panelist on E!'s late night show Chelsea Lately. Koy has showcased his comedic talent through various Comedy Central and Netflix specials. Born to a white American father and a Filipina mother, Koy's family moved from Spanaway, Washington, to Tacoma, Washington, and then settled in Las Vegas. After finishing high school, Koy dropped out of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. His stage name, Jo Koy, originates from a childhood nickname. He continues to entertain audiences with his unique brand of comedy.
