Joanna Christie

Joanna Lauren Christie is an English actress and singer, born on April 10, 1982. She gained recognition for her performance in the play Equus (2007) alongside Daniel Radcliffe. However, Christie is best known for her role as Girl in the Broadway musical Once. She also appeared in the popular Netflix series Narcos, where she portrayed the character Connie Murphy. Christie was born and raised in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and later attended Oundle School in Northamptonshire on a music scholarship. She further pursued her acting career by studying at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Christie's breakthrough role was in the stage play Immaculate Conceit, and she has since worked in television and theater.
