Joanna Higson

Joanna Higson (born May 29, 1983) is an English actress known for her roles in various television shows. She graduated from Salford University with a First Class Honours degree in Media and Performance in 2006. Higson joined the cast of Shameless in series 6, where she portrayed the character of 'Maxine'. She also appeared in the first series of Sky One's 'Brassic', playing a minor role initially and later reprising it with a more prominent part as a club manager. Higson's television career started with a role in an episode of The Afternoon Play on BBC One. She has since appeared in shows like Scallywagga, Cold Blood, and The Street.
