Joanne King

Joanne King (born 20 April 1983) is an Irish actress known for her roles in television series. She portrayed Cynthia 'Cyd' Pyke on the BBC One hospital drama Casualty and Jane Boleyn, Viscountess Rochford in the Showtime series The Tudors. King was born in Dublin and attended St. Brigid's Girls School and St. Joseph of Cluny Killiney. She trained at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin before moving to London. King worked as a BBC tour guide when she auditioned for Casualty and landed the role of Cyd. She later played Lady Jane Rochford in The Tudors, with her character's role expanding in the fourth season. In addition to her acting career, King opened a cafe in Bristol that donates all profits to the Tenovus C.
