Joanne Whalley Biography
Joanne Whalley (born August 25, 1961) is an English film and television actress. From 1988 to 1996, she was credited as Joanne Whalley-Kilmer during her marriage to Val Kilmer. Whalley gained recognition through her appearances in television dramas such as Edge of Darkness (BBC, 1985) and The Singing Detective (BBC, 1986), receiving a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Actress for the former. She has also appeared in notable British and American films, including Willow (1988) and Scandal (1989).
