Jodhi Tania May is a British actress, born on May 8, 1975, in Camden Town, London. She began her career as a child actress and gained recognition as the youngest recipient of the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in A World Apart (1988). In addition to this, May has appeared in notable films such as The Last of the Mohicans (1992), Sister My Sister (1994), and A Quiet Passion (2016). She was educated at Camden School for Girls. May's mother, Jocelyn Hakim, is an art teacher of French-Turkish descent, and her father is German although she has not publicly identified him. May's talent and versatility have made her a respected figure in the entertainment industry.
