Jodi Long is an American actress known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. She gained popularity for portraying Madama in Cafe Americain (1993–1994) and Ok Cha in Sullivan and Son (2012–2014). Long's notable appearance in the film Patty Hearst (1988) showcased her acting skills. In 2020, she received the Best Supporting Actress award at the Daytime Emmy Awards for her role in the Netflix series Dash & Lily. Born in Manhattan and raised in Queens, New York, Long comes from a diverse background. Her mother, Kimiye 'Trudy' Long, is a Japanese-American clerk and dancer, while her father, Lawrence K. Long (stage name Larry Leung), has Cantonese-Scottish roots and was a tap-dancer vaudevillian. Long graduated from New York's High School of Performing Arts and holds a BFA from the State University of New York at Purchase. Long's filmography also includes appearances in Patty Hearst, RoboCop 3, Striking Distance, The Hot Chick, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
