    Jodie Christine Prenger is an English actress and singer, born on June 12, 1979. She gained recognition by winning the second series of The Biggest Loser in 2006 and the BBC talent show I'd Do Anything in 2008. These victories launched her successful career in theatre. In 2022, Prenger joined the cast of the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, portraying the role of Glenda Shuttleworth. Prenger's diverse background includes a Dutch father and an English mother of part-Irish descent. She attended Elmslie Girls' School in Blackpool and Blackpool and the Fylde College. Prenger has also made a name for herself as an entertainer on the cabaret circuit, particularly in Northern England, including her hometown of Blackpool and the Fylde coast.
