Joe Absolom Biography
Joe Absolom (born December 16, 1978) is an English actor known for his roles as Matthew Rose in the BBC soap opera EastEnders and Al Large in the ITV comedy drama Doc Martin. He made his acting debut in the 1991 film Antonia and Jane. Absolom gained recognition for his portrayal of Matthew Rose in EastEnders, particularly for his involvement in the murder storyline of Saskia Duncan. He won Best Actor at The British Soap Awards in 2000. Absolom has also appeared in the British horror film Long Time Dead and has had numerous television appearances throughout his career.
