Joe Chrest Biography
Joseph Chrest (born September 15, 1965) is an American actor known for his roles in various films and television shows. He has appeared in popular movies such as 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Oldboy, Lee Daniels' The Butler, The Perfect Date, and is widely recognized for his portrayal of Ted Wheeler in the hit series Stranger Things. Chrest was born and raised in St. Albans, West Virginia, and attended St. Albans High School. He later earned his undergraduate degree from Marshall University and received an MFA in acting from Louisiana State University. In addition to his acting career, Chrest is an adjunct professor at Louisiana State University's College of Music & Dramatic Arts, teaching film acting.
