Joe Exotic

Joseph Allen Maldonado, professionally known as Joe Exotic and nicknamed 'The Tiger King', is an American media personality, businessman, and convicted felon. Born on March 5, 1963, in Kansas, he later moved to Texas and enrolled at Pilot Point High School. After a brief stint as the chief of police in Eastvale, Exotic opened a pet store with his brother. Following his brother's death in 1997, he sold the store and founded the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma. During his time as the park's director, Exotic organized magic shows, cub-petting events, and hosted an online talk show. He also collaborated with producer Rick Kirkham to create a reality television series about himself, which unfortunately ended when most of the footage was destroyed.
