Joe Farago Biography
Joe Farago is an American actor, former stuntman, and television personality. He gained recognition as the host of the game show Break the Bank in 1985, where he hosted over 160 episodes. Farago has also appeared as a spokesman for various products including the 'GT Express' countertop grill, 'True Sleeper' foam mattress topper, T-Fal cookware, and The Bissell Big Green Clean machine. He has hosted 35 infomercials that have been seen in over 70 countries. Additionally, Farago served as the host of the HBO comedy show Night Rap in 1990-91, featuring notable guests such as Timothy Leary, Ed Koch, G. Gordon Liddy, and Mel Brooks. He made a brief appearance on the popular TV show Seinfeld in the episode 'The Parking Garage.' In 2001, Farago transitioned to becoming a firefighter, and he also participated in disaster response efforts during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005.
