Joe Gatto
Joe Gatto, born Joseph Anthony Gatto Jr. on June 5, 1976, is an American improvisational comedian, actor, and producer. He hails from Staten Island, New York City, and is of Italian descent. Gatto is best known as a former member of the comedy troupe called the Tenderloins, which included Sal Vulcano, James Murray, and Brian Quinn. Together, they starred in the hit television series Impractical Jokers, which premiered on TruTV on December 15, 2011. Gatto attended Monsignor Farrell High School, where he was a part of the Improvisation Club with Murray, Vulcano, and Quinn. He later studied accounting at LIU Post. Gatto's father passed away in 1995 from pancreatic cancer. After college, Gatto, Murray, and Vulcano reunited and formed the Tenderloins, performing improv and sketch comedy.
