Joe Rogan is an American UFC color commentator, podcaster, comedian, actor, and former television host. Born on August 11, 1967, in Newark, New Jersey, Rogan began his comedy career in 1988 in the Boston area. He later moved to Los Angeles in 1994 and signed an exclusive development deal with Disney. Rogan appeared as an actor on various television shows, including Hardball and NewsRadio. In 1997, he joined the UFC as an interviewer and color commentator. Rogan released his first comedy special, I'm Gonna Be Dead Someday..., in 2000 and hosted the game show Fear Factor from 2001 to 2006. Since then, he has focused on his stand-up career and launched The Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2009, which has become one of the most popular podcasts in the world.
