Charles Joseph Scarborough, born April 9, 1963, is an American television host, attorney, political commentator, and former politician. He is best known as the co-host of Morning Joe on MSNBC, alongside his wife Mika Brzezinski. Scarborough previously hosted Scarborough Country on the same network. Before his career in television, he served as a member of the Republican Party and represented Florida's 1st district in the United States House of Representatives from 1995 to 2001. Additionally, Scarborough was appointed to the President's Council on the 21st Century Workforce in 2002 and was a visiting fellow at the Harvard Institute of Politics. He has been recognized as one of the most influential people in the world by Time Magazine's 2011 Time 100 list.
