Joe Spano Biography
Joseph Peter Spano (born July 7, 1946) is an American actor known for his roles as Lt. Henry Goldblume on Hill Street Blues and FBI Special Agent Tobias C. Fornell on NCIS. He also voiced the character Pasqually the Chef in Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre from 1977–1983. Spano began his acting career in the San Francisco improv group, The Wing, and later co-founded the Berkeley Repertory Theatre. He moved to Hollywood in the late 1970s, appearing in TV shows and films like American Graffiti (1973) and The Enforcer (1976). Spano portrayed Henry Goldblume for the entire seven-year run of Hill Street Blues, and his character served as a trusted junior officer to precinct captain Frank Furillo, often negotiating hostage situations.
