Joe Tippett (born March 1, 1982) is an American actor known for his roles in television series and theater productions. He was born and raised in Damascus, Maryland, and attended Damascus High School, where he participated in the theater department and was a member of the football team. Tippett made his Broadway debut in 2015 as Bait Boy in Airline Highway and later played Earl Hunterson in Waitress. In 2018, he portrayed Coach Strickland in NBC's Rise. He gained further recognition for his role as John Ross in the HBO crime drama miniseries Mare of Easttown. Tippett's talent and versatility have made him a sought-after actor in both stage and screen productions.
