Joe Trohman

Joseph Mark Trohman, born on September 1, 1984, is an American musician, singer, and record producer. He gained recognition as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the rock band Fall Out Boy and as the lead guitarist for the heavy metal supergroup the Damned Things. Trohman and Pete Wentz formed Fall Out Boy in 2001 as a side project from their involvement in the hardcore punk scene. The band has achieved significant success, with four number one albums on the US Billboard 200 and multiple platinum and multi-platinum singles. After a three-year hiatus, Fall Out Boy made a comeback in 2013 and has since released several albums and EPs. Trohman was born in Hollywood, Florida, and raised in South Russell, Ohio, before relocating to the Chicago area. He comes from a Jewish family.
