Joel Bissonnette Biography
Joel Bissonnette is a Canadian-American actor. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was raised in Montreal, Quebec. Bissonnette is a graduate of the Dawson College Theatre Program in Montreal. He is best known for his role as Arnaud DeFöhn in the SciFi channel's show Invisible Man and as a lead in the Canadian series Liberty Street. Bissonnette has appeared in various films including Looking for Leonard, Century Hotel, Boulevard, Suspicious River, The Sum of All Fears, Fight Club, Darkman III, Language of the Heart, Fall, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Death of a Ladies' Man. In 2010, he played the assassin Pavel Tokarev in the eighth season of the television series 24. Bissonnette also won the Best Actor Marcello Mastroianni Award at the Blow-Up Chicago International Arthouse Film Festival for his role as Brian in the 2018 film Desert Shores. He is the brother of film director Matt Bissonnette.
