Joel Edgerton is an Australian actor and filmmaker, born on June 23, 1974. He gained recognition for his role as Will McGill in the Australian drama series The Secret Life of Us (2001-2002). Edgerton also portrayed Owen Lars in the Star Wars films Attack of the Clones (2002) and Revenge of the Sith (2005), and reprised the role in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022).
