Joel Tobeck

Joel Tobeck (born 2 June 1971) is a New Zealand actor known for his roles in various television series. He has appeared in shows such as Tangle, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Xena Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Young Hercules, Sons of Anarchy, and Ash vs Evil Dead. In The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Tobeck portrayed ethical police superintendent Lawson from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, he played a crooked cop in an episode of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries in 2012. Tobeck resides in Cambridge with his partner Yvette and they have three children.
