Joey Batey

Joey Batey is an English actor, musician, singer, and songwriter. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1989, he grew up in a musical family and has always been surrounded by music. After studying at Robinson College, Cambridge and L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, he made his film debut in the 2013 thriller 'Murder on the Home Front.' Batey gained recognition for his role as the bard Jaskier in the Netflix fantasy series 'The Witcher,' where he showcased his musical talents by singing 'Toss a Coin to Your Witcher.' He has also appeared in other notable TV shows like 'Strike' and 'In The Dark' and films such as 'The Riot Club' and 'Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool.'
