Johanna Day

Johanna Day (born 1964) is an American actress known for her performances in both stage and screen. She gained recognition for her roles in the plays Proof and Sweat, which earned her two Tony Award nominations. Throughout her career, she has also received a Helen Hayes Award, an Obie Award, and nominations for various other prestigious awards. Born in Winchester, Virginia, Johanna grew up in Rappahannock County, Virginia. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1984. Johanna has appeared in several notable productions, including Carly Mensch's play Oblivion and David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People. She has also worked alongside Tracy Letts and Parker Posey in Will Eno's The Realistic Joneses.
