Johanna Stein Biography
Johanna Stein is a Canadian writer, director, animation show runner, and actress. She was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and attended St. John's High School and the University of Winnipeg. Stein later moved to the United States to study at the American Film Institute. As an actress, she has appeared on popular TV series such as The Late Late Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Madagascar: A Little Wild, as well as in feature films including Shoot or Be Shot and Mulholland Drive. Stein has also made a name for herself as a writer, having contributed to various TV series, including Odd Squad, Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny, and Home: Adventures with Tip and Oh, among others. Her work on Nickelodeon's O'Grady earned her a nomination for an Annie Award in 2006, and she received another nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2015 for her work on Disney XD's Wander Over Yonder.
