John Asher

John Mallory Asher, born January 13, 1971, is an American actor, film director, and screenwriter. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Gary in the USA Network's series spinoff of the movie Weird Science. Asher was born as John Mallory to actor Edward Mallory and actress Joyce Bulifant and was later adopted by Bulifant's third husband, producer/director William Asher. He married actress Jenny McCarthy in 1999, and they have a son named Evan Joseph Asher, who was born in 2002 and diagnosed with autism. Asher has also appeared in TV shows such as Ghost Whisperer, October Road, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS, Las Vegas, and Fastlane.
