John Bedford Lloyd is an American character actor born on January 2, 1956 in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended Williams College and while studying there, he was cast in the play One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, sparking his interest in acting. He later attended Yale School of Drama before starting his professional acting career in Manhattan. Lloyd has appeared in numerous movies including Trading Places, Crossing Delancey, Philadelphia, Fair Game, The Bourne Supremacy, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, The Front Runner, and many others. He has also made appearances in popular TV series like Hometown, Law & Order, Aliens in the Family, John Adams, and Ozark. Lloyd is married to actress Anne Twomey and they have two daughters named Hannah and Elizabeth.
