John Castellanos Biography
John Castellanos is an American actor, born on April 11, 1957 in La Mesa, California. He is best known for his role as attorney John Silva on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, which he joined in May 1989 and has appeared in approximately 1,300 episodes. Prior to this, he portrayed attorney Jeff Talon on The Bold and the Beautiful in 1987. Castellanos has also made guest appearances in popular primetime series such as Miami Vice, Babylon 5, Silk Stalkings, JAG, and Supernatural. He has also acted in feature films including K-9, Killer Weekend, 10 Years, Blue Eyes, and Mexican Gold. In addition to acting, Castellanos has produced films including The Man Who Came Back, Blue Eyes, and Mexican Gold. He attended Grossmont College and San Diego State University, and is a graduate of the American Conservatory Theater (ACT).
