John Cullum Biography
John Cullum (born March 2, 1930) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his work in stage musicals and dramas, including his Tony Award-winning performances in Shenandoah (1975) and On the Twentieth Century (1978). Cullum received his first Tony nomination in 1966 for On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, and later received nominations for Urinetown The Musical (2002) and 110 in the Shade revival (2007). On television, Cullum gained recognition for his role as tavern owner Holling Vincoeur in Northern Exposure and as Mark Greene's father in ER. He has also appeared on Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
