John Dye

John Carroll Dye (January 31, 1963 – January 10, 2011) was an American film and television actor known for his role as Andrew in the spiritual television drama series Touched by an Angel. Born in Amory, Mississippi, Dye was one of four sons of Jim and Lynn Dye. He attended Cleveland High School in Tennessee and Tupelo High School in Mississippi, where he discovered his passion for acting. Despite initially pursuing a career in civil rights law at Mississippi State University, he ultimately chose to become an actor. Throughout his career, Dye appeared in various movies and TV shows, but is best remembered for his role in Touched by an Angel.
