John Griesemer

John Griesemer (born December 5, 1947) is an American author, journalist, and actor. He is best known for his novel Signal and Noise. Griesemer graduated from the Peddie School and Dickinson College. He started his career as a journalist for local newspapers before transitioning into acting. While working for a newspaper in Lebanon, New Hampshire, he wrote an article about a local theatre company and was persuaded by the director to join the company. Griesemer performed for two years, playing various roles from Romeo in Romeo and Juliet to children's theatre. In 1977, he moved to New York City and studied acting under Robert Lewis. Griesemer has appeared in a number of stage productions and has also acted in movies and television shows.
