John L. Adams

John L. Adams (born 4 December 1973) is an American actor, comedian, and director. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Bruce Lewis in Stephen King's The Dead Zone, a role he played from 2002 to 2007. Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Adams attended Winston-Salem State University before venturing to California to pursue a career in standup comedy. In 2000, he signed a deal with NBC to appear as Mr. Peña on the television series Just Deal. Throughout his career, Adams has primarily focused on comedy, but his notable role on The Dead Zone showcased his versatility as an actor.
