John McArdle (born 16 August 1949) is an English actor. He gained fame for his portrayal of Billy Corkhill in the soap opera Brookside, where he played a regular character alongside Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston. McArdle's memorable performance showcased a man pushed to his limits, culminating in his character's dramatic outbursts and destructive behavior.
